Our kids play outside with other kids in the neighborhood & there are always watchful parents & other adults to ensure everyone is safe
You can also retreat in your own yard & never feel an intrusion
The neighborhood also provides a perfect location for outdoor exercise (run, walk or bike) in or outside the neighborhood—I have planned many runs down to Governor’s Island just to watch the sunrise over the water, often greeted by other nearby neighbors doing the same

This floorplan is perfect for entertaining or retreating in your own home. The open kitchen & living room are the most popular areas of the home
The windows & placement of the home ensure you will always have a well-lit home during the day so long as the sun is out
The upstairs allows great privacy between bedrooms; & then a nicely sequestered bonus room or large optional guest room

What Our Neighbors are Like:
You could not ask for better neighbors. To the left and right are the quietest neighbors I have ever encountered; the neighbor on the right even mows the yard with an electric mower
All surrounding neighbors and those up and down the street are extremely friendly
There have been some great friendships built just on the sidewalk across the street
A last minute grill-out, dinner or low country boil is never out of the question
Whether you host or just want to attend someone else’s; any weekend will find an opportunity for a small community meal
